Hi, I’m Eva
I’m the photographer behind Eva Baker Photography, a Walnut Creek photography studio specializing in maternity, newborn, milestone and family portraits.
I’ve been a photographer for more than 15 years and over that time I’ve captured a little bit of everything: weddings, growing families, newborns, babies, and all the sweet chaos that comes with photographing real life. Over the past decade, I’ve narrowed my focus to studio maternity, newborn & family photography, which has become the heart of my work.
Outside of the studio, I’m a wife, mom to two quickly-growing kids, and dog mom to our very loved pups, Penny & Koa.
My goal is to make your session feel easy and relaxed while creating timeless portraits that feel true to your family and this season of life.
meet Talia
Talia is a familiar face at Eva Baker Photography. Years ago, she was our trusted newborn session assistant before taking time off to welcome her last baby. Now she’s back behind the camera as our primary preschool photographer.
Talia has always been the person with a camera in her hand. Family events, time with friends, trips, everyday moments, she wanted to remember all of it. For her, photography has always been a way to hold onto the moments that matter, the ones that have a way of slipping by far too quickly.
As a mom of four, Talia brings a natural warmth and patience to photographing children. She knows how to help little ones feel comfortable, have fun, and let their real personalities shine.
meet Gabriele
My mom has always been one of the most supportive people in my life and over the years she has become an important part of Eva Baker Photography as well.
After a fulfilling career as a middle school teacher, she retired and began helping behind the scenes with our photography business. She has assisted during newborn sessions and now helps edit your finished galleries, bringing patience, care and a thoughtful eye to every image she touches.
Now living in San Diego, she spends her time enjoying grandmother life, yoga and the beach while continuing to support our studio from just a little farther away.
